Helium Health & the Medical Hub
Helium Health’s electronic medical record/hospital management information system is engineered specifically for emerging markets. Easy to use and offering 24/7 support, the solution manages patient visits and hospital processes from end to end, and has an app for patients to access their medical records. It produces actionable data and insights, and enables transfer of healthcare data between facilities. A billing/payments solution plugs financial leakages. During the pandemic, Helium deployed a provider telemedicine solution enabling virtual consultations with patients over voice, video, or text, with payment functionality. In this pilot, the Medical Hub in Uganda is piloting Helium’s innovation to improve task management, coordinate health workers and patient engagement, increase operational efficiency, and enhance reporting and analytics.
