Transmural Biotech's quantusFLM, is a non‐invasive, fast, and easy‐to‐use Fetal Lung Maturity test based on the analysis of an image of the fetal lungs obtained by ultrasound, to provide an accurate result of a baby’s lung maturity in a few minutes. In this pilot, Hospital Vera Cruz will integrate quantusFLM into its clinical practice and evaluate its ability to better manage complex situations in which the decision of whether to deliver or wait is not clear.

Transmural Biotech developed quantusFLM, a non‐invasive, fast, and easy‐to‐use Fetal Lung Maturity test that provides an accurate result within three minutes. The pilot with Cloudnine tested quantusFLM in the clinical practice of three maternity hospitals, with pregnant women at risk of late pre-term birth, or scheduled for an early term birth, to determine Fetal Lung Maturity by using only an ultrasound image during quantusFLM analysis.
