Yesenia Rivera Rector

International Director

Yesenia is the International Director of the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration, were she builds capacity and knowledge, and facilitates the adoption of standards on the safe, efficient operation of ammonia refrigeration systems. Yesenia has 15 years of experience conducting audits and risk analysis for large industrial systems in occupational safety and administration of ammonia refrigeration systems and has worked for the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration, where she inspected complex chemical processes. She also worked for Americold Logistics, the largest refrigerated food warehouse company in the US. Yesenia has a Master of Public Health, specializing in occupational and Environmental Health and Safety, from the University of Alabama, as well as CARO Certification from the Association of Refrigeration Engineers and Technicians in the US.
