As IBM's first-ever Chief Developer Advocate, Willie Tejada leads the mission of engaging developers and building open ecosystems across the globe, empowering developers with cloud, data and AI technologies to solve the world’s most challenging problems — smarter, faster and together. With more than 20 years' experience in technology, Willie has led marketing, developer relations, product management and development teams for both startup and large enterprise organizations. Previously, Willie served as SVP and GM of Cloud Networking + Emerging Products at Akamai Technologies. Away from the office, Willie enjoys time with his wife, three daughters, two dogs and seven chickens. He is a vintage motorcycle restorer and racer, avid golfer, as well as an aspiring DJ, filmmaker and cook.
