Angélica Ospina

Technical Director, Colombia Green Building Council

Angelica Ospina is the Technical Director of Colombia Green Building, she is an expert in sustainable construction and energy efficiency with over 13 years of work experience in this field. She is a civil and environment engineer from Universidad de los Andes and she holds a MS and a PhD in building construction from Georgia Tech. Angelica was one of the founders of Colombia GBC and has been a leader in the adoption of green building practices en in the country. In 2017 she received the LEED Fellow distinction because of her outstanding work in green building in the country and region. Since 2012 Angelica is lecture professor at Universidad de los Andes. At Colombia GBC she she directs the BEA project implementation and oversees the technical development work, the public policy work and the education and capacity building area.
