Oneg Hakarmel‘s sterile elastic tourniquet with exsanguination for orthopedic limb surgeries - HemaClear - exsanguinates limbs before surgery and blocks blood re-entry. In this pilot, HCOR - Hospital do Coração‘s orthopedic surgeons deployed the solution to reduce surgical site infections and provide less painful exsanguination (which translates into faster patient recovery and less DVT), no skin damage, no nerve damage, faster surgeries, and an enhanced surgical field size.
