Nelen & Schuurmans

Nelen & Schuurmans is piloting a unique flood modelling system that aims to not only support early warning and immediate emergency management, but also aid long-term preventative maintenance and planning. The software solutions developed by this Netherlands-headquartered company include an interface that allows even novice users to see a simulated water flow, to interact with the simulation to better understand the impact of storms, elevation, levees and more, and then to adjust community infrastructure accordingly. The solution will be deployed in partnership with local Indian State Disaster Management Authorities.
