Chaldal and MachPhy
Indian innovator Machphy and Chaldal will use the grocery operator’s fleet of motorbikes and vans to field-test insulated containers passively cooled by inexpensive phase change materials to deliver frozen goods from warehouses direct to customers’ homes. The pilot aims to reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, while providing a reliable and affordable cooling solution for the last-mile transport of small amounts of frozen produce.
