Indian innovator PLUSS offers an innovative PCM solution for temperature-controlled logistics, enabling precise temperature control without using fossil-fuel powered refrigerated trucks or environmentally hazardous materials such as dry ice. Aliar is a Colombian agri-industrial company that produces pork and beef from early stages through to processing and retail under the La Fazenda brand. Their joint pilot project uses refrigeration with passive cooling via PCMs to solve the challenges of affordability, quality, and energy efficiency when delivering small quantities of frozen and fresh meat products.
