Hybrid material foam of polymeric material and materials with phase change (PCM), where the PCM is deposited in the pores of the foam of closed-cell polymeric material (polymeric foam) and provides the process by which this material can be produced. One of the innovations in question is the use of microwaves to speed up the production process of these materials and the use of alternative formulations to generate a safe product.

We offer a model and an experimental methodology to estimate the hourly energy savings and water consumption associated with the operation of air-cooled chillers when they operate with evaporative pre-cooling.
