Enersion’s new cooling technology uses 70% less electricity and no synthetic refrigerant. The technology uses nano-porous materials in a cycle that is powered by low grade heat instead of electricity to produce cooling. The refrigerant used is pure water in a closed loop. The cooling technology provides the same temperature output as standard chiller. The chiller is reliable with no corrosion / crystallization issues and the design has been made affordable.


An economical green cooling technology with 70% electricity savings
The product is a chiller that provides cooling using low grade heat. The heat is used to regenerate nano-porous material which creates a thermal compression that accelerates and sustains evaporation to produce cooling. This product embodies a complex thermodynamic phenomenon in a highly innovative and cost-effective mechanical design which provides sustainable and economical cooling for multiple applications.

An Innovative Active Cold Box
The produce comes in the form of a portable box . A small cylinder gets ejected from the top middle portion of the box. This cylinder is a thermal battery and contains enersion's innovative nano-porous material based cooling technology. This cylinder is charged using electricity. Once charged for 2 hours, the cylinder is inserted in the box. The box has another opening on the side to put contents to be kept cooled. Once loaded, the cylinder can be activated and provide cooling for 6 days.
