ColdHubs – solar powered cold rooms for first and last mile cooling and aggregation of fresh fruits, vegetables and other perishable food.
Cold room: 32ft (L) 20ft (W) and 20ft (H), 150mm insulated walls, the floor made of aluminuim. Contains 100 tons of food in 5,000 units, 20kg stackable plastic crates.
Refrigeration unit: energy efficient Kilmtop Controls refrigeration unit for 24/7 refrigeration, natural refrigerants, the cooling capacity of 18.3 kW/h, for off-grid use. Temperature is adjustable from +15° to +4° Celsius.
Solar power: 78kW/h rooftop solar panels, batteries, and inverters, runs hubs on all-weather.
