Free cooling and heating from waste heat of a generator or turbine
Chill Technologies offers an ammonia-based, air-cooled absorption chiller designed to operate directly from the waste heat of a gebartor or turbine exhaust. The chiller also has the ability to run off direct fired gas. Each unit delivers 17.6 kW of cooling capacity and is essentially "plug and play", being attached to the exhaust by means of a universal flange. Units may be linked together in unlimited numbers; therefore, a 600-kW diesel engine can run up to 20 chillers.
