Accelerating Sustainable Cooling Innovation in Latin America: Experience and Next Steps of the TechEmerge Program

This event highlighted the initial results from IFC’s TechEmerge Sustainable Cooling Innovation Program in Latin America, a program that works with some of the world’s most promising cooling innovators and leading local companies in Colombia and Mexico to pilot, de-risk, and accelerate the adoption of sustainable cooling technologies. IFC also announced the second phase of the Program, which is expanding to Andean Countries (Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru).
The session was part of Expo Acaire 2022 (Bogota, Colombia), the Annual Fair of the Colombian Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ACAIRE), which is the main event for the HVAC, Refrigeration and Ventilation in the Andean, Central American and Caribbean Region. ACAIRE is also the local implementer of the TechEmerge Sustainable Cooling Program.
