Rajesh Kumar Miglani is a Senior Climate Business Specialist at IFC and South Asia’s climate anchor, based in New Delhi. He leads the development and implementation of IFC’s climate change strategy and is part of the business development team that partners with financial institutions like IDFC, Axis Bank, Tata Cleantech, RBL and PNB Housing. He works closely with investment teams on various innovative transactions in cleaner production, climate-smart agriculture, clean energy, carbon finance, energy efficiency, and green buildings. He has co-led the Sustainable Housing Leadership Consortium, which brought together India’s top five CEOs to move the needle in green housing and spearheaded internal carbon pricing initiatives. As a result, 14 top corporates including Mahindra, Infosys, Tata, Godrej are part of this World Bank Group-led consortium. Rajesh holds a master's degree in environmental engineering and an executive MBA. He has 25 years of experience in climate business and prior to joining IFC spent seven years at Ernst & Young.
