Pooja has been a Senior Industry Specialist at IFC since June 2020. She is responsible for assessing the technical and commercial feasibility of projects seeking investment, managing a portfolio of existing investments, providing support to develop IFC’s tourism sector strategy, and supporting business origination activities across the globe. Pooja started her career in 2002 with Taj Hotels and has also worked for HVC South Asia’s consulting & valuation team, Hyatt Hotels, and Marriot International Group, leading projects in operations, revenue management, planning, strategy, market analysis and business intelligence. Pooja holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from IHM Pusa, Delhi, and an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Practices from NMIMS, Mumbai.
