Peter Cook is a Senior Investment Officer at IFC in the Venture Capital & Disruptive Technologies Group where he leads the team’s investments in agritech. He also works in cleantech investments. Previously at IFC, Peter arranged financing for infrastructure projects and led carbon market transactions in emerging markets. Recent IFC investments managed by Peter include Apeel Sciences, a US based company which has developed a plant-based treatment to extend the shelf life of fruit and vegetables; SeeTree, an Israel-based startup that digitizes permanent crop operations and gives insights into tree health, pest, disease and volume; and SP Ventures, an agritech-focused seed and Series A venture fund based in Latin America. He was based in Beijing from 2010-2015 and is now based in Washington, DC. Prior to joining IFC, Peter worked with PwC in New York.
