Cold-chain Expert and Founder
Kohli brings 35 years of hands-on experience in industry, with 8 in policy formulation. He was the founding CEO of India’s National Centre for Cold-chain Development and former Chief Advisor to the Government on post-harvest supply chains, and has shaped India’s national policies on food logistics from 2012 to 2020. He authored & led various strategic initiatives including as knowledge partner & key member of India’s inter-ministerial Committee for Doubling Farmers Income. He was conferred title of honorary Professor by the University of Birmingham, chairs the Select Committee on cooling of the International Solar Alliance and is a member of their Global Advisory Committee, is on the Governing Council of India’s Logistics Skill Sector Council, among others. A ship Captain and an honorary Professor, his multi-disciplinary mind focuses on holistic and sustainable socio-economic outcomes and resource conservation in the food supply chain.
