K. S. Venkatagiri is the Executive Director of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Centre of Excellence in Green Practices & Businesses. He joined CII almost 20 years, and now leads a team of over 90 professionals offering advisory services to Indian industry in areas of energy management, green buildings, green products, renewable energy, and other related sectors. Venkatagiri holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in chemical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, and has prior experience in the cement industry.
