Neopenda & Ruaraka Uhai Neema Hospital
NeoGuard is a wireless, wearable vital signs monitor that continuously measures pulse rate, blood oxygen saturation, respiratory rate and temperature to enable more responsive and effective management of hospitalized newborns, pediatric and adult patients in resource-constrained health facilities. Up to 15 patients can be monitored via one tablet. In this pilot, Ruaraka Uhai Neema Hospital in Kenya will deploy Neopenda in their newborn unit and pediatric ward to support patients in need of continuous vital sign monitoring. NeoGuards real-time audio and visual alerts will improve Ruaraka’s operational efficiency and speed of action in life-threatening situations.
