Israeli innovator Elgressy Engineering Services and the Chalet Hotels Group are piloting EST—a chemical-free, automated plug-and-play electrochemical system that prevents scaling, corrosion, and algae in cooling towers. This comprehensive solution aims to reduce energy and water consumption, as well as greenhouse gas emissions. It will be field-tested at three Chalet properties—the Westin Powai, the Westin Hyderabad, and the Marriot Bangalore—with slight modifications to address specific needs at each property.
